Prayer for the Victim/Survivors

Our Father in Heaven,

We know the heart of a child can be broken by so many things: condemnation, grief, failure, betrayal, and especially sexual assault.  Jesus, we ask you to comfort and restore the innocent children, as you promised in Matthew 5:4: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Prayer for Purity

Jesus, Lover of chastity, Mary, Mother most pure, and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin, to you I come at this hour, begging you to plead with God for me. I earnestly wish to be pure in thought, word and deed in imitation of your own holy purity.

Obtain for me, then, a deep sense of modesty which will be reflected in my external conduct. Protect my eyes, the windows of my soul, from anything that might dim the luster of a heart that must mirror only Christ like purity.

Heart of Jesus, Fount of all purity, have mercy on me.

A Single Person’s Prayer to Recapture Purity

Father, I have fallen into sexual sins in my past. I admit them and I am sorry for them. I ask for your forgiveness and for your mercy.

I ask that through your enduring mercy and endless love you help me to become pure once again. I ask that through the intercession of your most Beautiful and Blessed Mother you help me day by day to once again become a gift for my future spouse. I ask to receive your cleansing of past memories, to have my heart made whole and new, and to be healed from my past.

Give me the will to let go of my past and may I cling to you for comfort and strength. Thank you for this great gift and a chance to start over and be a gift for my true love. Amen.

Effort without prayer is like a car without fuel. It might look impressive but it’s not effective. Even the most spectacular car, void of fuel would be little more than an impressive dog kennel. It is very simple, you are not determined nor courageous enough to overcome your sexual sin. You need grace, and the only gateway to grace is prayer.

10 Steps to Healing

It seems that we as men can be so stubborn that we would rather lose a decade of our life than admit that we might not have it all together. But this first step is vital and if you are not willing to admit that you are not in control and that your lust, your use of porn, your masturbation is a problem then unfortunately this site has no more use for you.
